10:30 – 14:00
Join a small group on a short circular walk from Welton village, along some of the first dry valleys of the Yorkshire Wolds Way. This walk is led by Malcolm Hodgson, the National Trail Officer for the Yorkshire Wolds Way.
There is plenty of good woodland walking to enjoy on this wander, before finishing with some great views across the River Humber. We end the walk by calling in at The Green Dragon in Welton for lunch and a drink. Famously, this is where the notorious Highwayman Dick Turpin was finally arrested.
This walk is 4 miles and is relatively easy walking.
Meet near The Green Dragon pub in Welton at 10.30am. Please bring money for lunch and drink.
Children welcome over 8, accompanied by an adult.
Dogs welcome on walk on a short lead and in bar area of pub.
Limited tickets available
