Based in the East Riding of Yorkshire, very close to the Yorkshire Wolds Way, jeweller Diane Lee creates intricate jewellery inspired by the trees, landscape and natural forms around her.
Working as a metalsmith jewellery maker she uses traditional skills mixing silver, copper, minerals and glass to create jewellery with forms and textures inspired by nature and narratives.
"We are blessed to live near the Wolds Way Trail, crossing beautiful Yorkshire - it is where I spend as much of my free time as I can. I walk the trail breathe the fresh air and be surrounded by peace and nature - this necklace celebrates one point in the walk - near Nunburnholme, as the wild roses bloomed."
